A law school, for purposes of this Article, is any education institution that teaches you to become a lawyer.
Some times it can be called a “law faculty” and other times “a faculty of law” or a “school of law.”
What matters is that the institution has been accredited and approved by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) or the Uganda Law Council to teach you law so that you are recognized as a lawyer.
According to a Public Notice published by the Uganda Law Council on 14th November, 2022, there are only 12 Universities accredited to teach law in Uganda.
