The new month has started with good news for Mr. Keneth Kipaalu after he was promoted to the position of Associate Partner by KTA Advocates, one of the leading law firms in Uganda.
Until now, Mr Keneth Kipaalu, who heads the Dispute Resolution Practice at KTA Advocates, has been one of the specialized Technology, Media, and Telecommunication (TMT) law firm’s four Senior Associates.
Mr. Kipaalu, a corporate, litigation, construction and arbitration lawyer is the representative of the Uganda Law Society – the umbrella association of Ugandan Lawyers on the Uganda Law Council, the supervisory body of the legal profession in Uganda.
His promotion announced by the law firm on Wednesday starts immediately and brings the total number of lawyers at the firm who have a partner designation to 6.
Commenting on Mr. Keneth Kipaalu’s promotion, KTA Advocates’ Managing Partner Ms. Asmahaney Saad said the elevation indicates the law firm’s commitment to nurture leaders who can take it to the next level.

On his part, Mr. Keneth Kipaalu, once Chairperson of the Uganda Law Society’s Young Lawyers Committee said he was excited about the new role and leveraged his promotion to call upon lawyers to have a long term view of life and career.
